I was shopping with a friend of mine the other day, and he purchased a pack of spandex brief underwear. I wanted to ask him what the hell he was buying, but I figured that he probably just made a mistake or something. I knew that it wasn’t something I would have purchased for myself, but he might have just misread the label or something. It wasn’t until I got home that I wondered if he knew what he was buying or not so I decided to give him a call. That was a very interesting and embarrassing conversation to say the least. The main thing that I should have remembered is that it was none of my business if he wanted to wear spandex briefs or not.
I started out by asking him if he knew that he had purchased spandex brief underwear. To which he responded yes and why was I asking about it. I told him that I didn’t think he knew they were made from spandex and I just wanted to make sure. Naturally, he was interested in why it was any of my business what kind of underwear he wore. I thought that I might have upset him or something by asking him that and then he started laughing at me. He knew that I had never tried anything like this before and told me that I really should.
I have thought about going to the store and picking out my own men’s spandex brief underwear, but I am afraid that people in the store will look at me funny. He was able to buy them without making it look like anything out of the ordinary was happening, but I know that I wouldn’t be able to be that smooth. Everyone around me would end up knowing that I was buying something new and they would be staring at me the entire time. Maybe I should ask him to buy some for me and then I can try them on to see if I like them or not. Yes, that is just what I do.
