Wearing a spandex brief under you pants is something that just about any guy would be willing to do in order to feel comfortable throughout the day. But it takes a real man to walk around in nothing except a brief regardless of what he might be doing. That is exactly what I told myself the day I decided to wear my brief to work for casual dress Friday last week. I just knew that I was going to be the talk of the company when I strolled in wearing my brief and nothing else. I had so many fantasies about how that day was going to work out.
I knew that my boss would probably call me into his office to talk about my spandex brief that I was wearing. He was going to go on and on about how great it looked on me and how he wanted to wear something like it as well. We would laugh about wearing one to a business meeting at corporate and then have a drink together and discuss my upcoming promotion. The women would be following me around the office all day trying to get a better look at what I had in my brief and the other guys would all be jealous of me.
Of course what actually happened was nothing like that. I walked in wearing my men’s spandex brief and was immediately escorted back out of the building. Apparently casual means something completely different to the people I work with than it does to me. My promotion was given to the idiot down the hall from me and I was handed my final check as I walked out the door. Oh well, at least I got to walk in and show everyone that I look sexy as hell wearing my brief designs that I purchased online. That means a lot to me, but it also taught me a lesson about being very careful in the future.
